About the role:

As a Project Management Director, you'll be responsible for all aspects of assigned non-technical projects. Projects may be focused on talent development, talent management, internal communications, marketing, finance/accounting, business planning, business operations, or other non-technical subjects.The position involves extensive interactions with cross-functional teams of various functional areas of the business and interactions with executive leadership.

About the team:

The Global Business Process Operations (GBPO) team manages all operations for our banking businesses, including commercial services, payments, wealth and retirement. Within GBPO, the Governance team is responsible for strategy, communications, governance and business intelligence for the Global Business Operations teams.

What you will be doing:

  • Plans and coordinates all aspects of non-technical projects from initiation through delivery.
  • Drives all talent-related GBPO projects in collaboration with the FIS People organization, such as talent development, training, recruitment, and governance
  • Runs all content communication initiatives for the GBPO team, including newsletters, all hands meetings, leadership communications, etc.
  • Drives plans and implementation for team member and leadership competency development
  • Coordinates activities and tasks among project team members, other internal departments and client or vendor/subcontractor organizations as needed to meet project goals and ensure project completion is on schedule, within budget constraints, and of the appropriate quality standards for the project scope.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring:

  • Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
  • Knowledge of people functions such as recruitment, talent development, talent management, training, etc.
  • Extensive experience presenting to and influencing all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, with executive presence
  • Experience in financial services required
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $138,600.00 - $232,850.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
