Midwest Veterinary Supply is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist for our Lakeville, Minnesota Corporate Office. This is a remote position that can be located in: AL, FL, IL, IN, IA, KY, MD, MN, MO, NE, NV, PA, SC, TX, and WI, CA, GA, LA, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, OH, TN, VA.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. This position will be responsible for developing and managing content across various digital platforms, executing targeted campaigns using HubSpot, and analyzing digital performance metrics. This role requires a deep understanding of current marketing tools and strategies, with the ability to lead integrated digital marketing efforts from concept to execution while collaborating closely with the Director of Marketing/Equine & Bovine on strategy planning. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility in your work environment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage and create engaging content for email marketing campaigns, such as weekly sales newsletters and blogs, designed to inform and captivate targeted customer segments. This role includes overseeing the creation and distribution of email content aligned with marketing goals and coordinating digital content development for websites, blogs, and other platforms to maintain a cohesive online presence. In addition, the specialist will oversee HubSpot platform management for the assigned business unit, leveraging its tools for lead generation, workflow automation, email marketing, and nurturing customer relationships. The role also involves developing impactful digital sales content that resonates with target audiences while collaborating with the e-commerce team to update departmental content and ensure consistency across all platforms.
  • Track and analyze digital performance metrics to identify trends and provide actionable insights for optimization. This includes measuring and reporting the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns against established goals, such as ROI and KPIs, to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing/Equine & Bovine and team members to ensure strategic alignment and the successful execution of marketing initiatives. This role also involves effectively communicating digital marketing progress, results, and insights to both internal and external stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment across all efforts.
  • Create and manage engaging content for social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, tailored to the needs of the assigned business unit. This role ensures that all social media activities align with the brand's voice, values, and marketing objectives, driving audience engagement and supporting broader business goals. By maintaining a consistent and strategic presence across channels, the specialist will enhance brand awareness and foster connections with key audiences.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field Preferred
  • 2-4 Years of experience in digital marketing or a related field
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, employment policies, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, ability to operate a Windows-based computer and data entry
  • Ability to work well with others and work independently
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Equipment Used:

Regularly uses typical office equipment including computer keyboard and terminal, telephone, fax and copier.

Work Environment:

Work is typically performed in an office environment Monday through Friday. Working more than 40 hours per workweek may be required. Occasional local and/or overnight travel may be required rarely. (This is a remote position)
