**This position offers a hybrid schedule (in-office & remote/work from home) or an onsite schedule and flexible hours. Candidates will need to reside near Charleston, SC to ensure work site flexibility.**
Position Description
With guidance from the Project or Program Manager, coordinates, plans, and executes processes in support of one, or several projects and programs, to accomplish program goals within cost and schedule guidelines.Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance to the business.
Essential Functions
- With guidance from the Project or Program Manager, review program and project contracts/agreements toensure all requirements are being met.
- Develops sufficient program knowledge to effectively interface with team members and clients.
- With guidance from the Project or Program Manager, supporting project activities can include the following:
- as directed, assists in the maintenance of project cost/schedule baselines
- as directed, assists in the maintenance of Statements of work (SOW)
- ensuring revision control is maintained through the approval process
- reviewing invoices for accuracy and appropriateness and evaluates cost variances
- as directed, responsible for data entry to enable the Project or Program Manager the ability to trackproject progress and deliverables to ensure timely completion and acceptance by the AOR or PTR
- As directed, provides administrative support in the preparation of project proposals, including the management of statement of works, work breakdown structure, and resource allocation.
- As directed, assists in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules.
- As directed, develops and maintains documentation necessary to coordinate technology transfers/transitions forprojects assigned.
- Assists the Project or Program Manager to prepare technical and financial reports.
- As directed, be familiar with and have the ability to review Project Status Reports (PSRs).
- Assists in the preparation and execution of program updates for program reviews and conferences.
- Assists in the preparation and documentation of program team meetings, either on-site or virtual as required bythe contract/agreement.
- Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of program website, brochures, posters, and newsletters, andadvises program team members of needed updates and maintenance.
- As directed, performs with a high degree of accuracy Data entry of financial information in support of reportingrequirements.
- As directed, responsible for the data entry and maintenance of accurate records for each consortiummembership and member.
- As directed, responsible for the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records for the consortium.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assists in the preparation of Project or Program success stories with the Program Manager and the BusinessDevelopment and Communications Department.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and two or more years related experience, or two years of observed, proven, directly relevantexperience at ATI; Associates Degree and four years of experience and/or High School and eight years ofexperience.
- Independent self-directed worker, team player, and problem solver.
- Strong communication skills, including presentations, technical reports, meeting management and work groupmanagement.
- Strong computer skills including intermediate Excel skills, MS Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, Outlook andProject desired. MS Access experience a plus.
- Ability to travel to conferences and meetings required. Weekend travel is very infrequent, however, it may beneeded to support the client's needs for an early Monday or late Friday event.
- This position will need the ability to access US only data systems - US Citizenship is required and/or must beable to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance (for certain projects/programs).
