Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required (A degree in Finance, accounting, or economics is preferred.) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As a seasoned leader, you'll be a subject matter expert in production planning and material requirements tools, sharing your knowledge with others in the organization. We'll rely on you to develop detailed schedules, production plans and capacity plans along with complex bills of material for large programs. The Advanced Manufacturing Planning Specialist will review work authorization documents and generate material program plans and coordinate kick-off meetings with functional departments to communicate program goals and objectives. Collects/Analyzes data using a combination of standard methods and business processes. Develops and maintains Control Account Plan (CAP) including Planned Value (PV), aka Budgeted Cost for Work Scheduled (BCWS). Monitors and tracks control of costs charged to control account Actual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP). Reports work accomplished, Budgeted Cost Work Performed (BCWP) based on material Earned Value (EV) method to plan and forecast.

What you bring to the table:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Effective risk management skills to identify and implement risk reduction plan
  • Ability to coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering
  • Skilled at complex negotiations with customers and/or suppliers

Workplace Options:

  • This is a Flex position which means a portion of the work will require you to work on-site in the Greensboro, NC office

Target salary range: USD $84,764.00/Yr. - USD $91,717.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
