$66,000 to $71,000 salary (DOE)
Job Description The Purchasing Agent (PA) is responsible for product forecasting and ordering, according to Supplier and Odom Corporation specifications. The PA will utilize internal and external data to evaluate current business conditions and sales trends, to maintain adequate inventory levels of fresh product, and ensure that product remains in-stock and available to sell. This position requires a proactive approach, particularly with communication, and the ability to react with a sense of urgency to quickly minimize/reduce "Out of Stock" (OOS) conditions, while also balancing inventory levels that reduce the potential of "Out of Date" (OOD) product and the negative impact on margin.
