ABOUT THE ROLE:

As we continue to grow, WillScot is seeking a recruiting leader with a knack for Commercial, Corporate and Executive recruitment strategies. We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead and innovate our recruiting strategies, drive system and process improvements, strengthen our partnership with business teams, and manage relationships with executive search partners . You'll tackle unique challenges such as scaling commercial sales hiring practices, ensuring our process delivers exceptional hires, and evolving a seamless experience for our candidates and hiring managers across North America.

This role is part of our TA Leadership team and will be a key partner in transforming the way we recruit at WillScot.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

Leadership & Delivery:



  • Lead and mentor a team of fantastic Recruiters, providing guidance, performance management, and professional development opportunities
  • Create and improve talent acquisition strategies to meet the hiring needs of our Corporate + Shared Services functions (Commercial/sales, Credit + Collections, Customer Success)
  • Partner with the Commercial Excellence team to align talent acquisition strategies with sales and marketing objectives
  • Develop a pipeline of top-tier talent to support strategic initiatives and business growth
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract talent in alignment with our diversity and inclusion value
  • Collaborate on workforce planning, role profiling, and performance forecasting to meet future business needs
  • Oversee corporate recruiting efforts to ensure high-quality talent acquisition and candidate experience
  • Manage relationships with executive search partners, ensuring alignment with company values, goals, and hiring needs
  • Act as a working manager on the recruitment of leadership and overflow positions, collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver a seamless and effective search process


Systems, Process, + Reporting:



  • Think progressively and implement creative bold ideas to test and learn
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting systems, tools, and workflows for efficiency and scalability
  • Implement data-driven strategies to enhance candidate experience, reduce time-to-fill, and improve recruiting metrics
  • Stay updated on best practices and trends in talent acquisition and integrate them into the organization
  • Work with HR leadership team on creating and launching various talent brand initiatives
  • Analyze and report on recruiting performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Present progress and key metrics to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with business goals


Talent Brand:



  • Deploying a clear and compelling narrative about our unique value proposition for potential employees, aligning with overall company branding
  • Collaborating with HR, marketing, and other departments to align messaging and ensure a consistent employer brand across all communication channels
  • Partnering with our Creative teams to ensure that our career page, social media accounts, and other online sourcing platforms maintain consistency and positive brand image

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, with 5+ yearsin a leadership capacity
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven expertise in corporate recruiting, including senior and executive-level positions
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition tech stack and process improvements practices (SAP a plus)
  • Experience driving DEI initiatives through recruitment practice
  • Demonstrated success partnering with sales and other high-volume hiring teams, to develop and deliver on hiring strategies in a rapid growth environment
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making
