FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: 8:00-16:30 Monday through Friday

Position Summary

The Orthopedic Technician is an excellent opportunity with MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's to provide care to pediatric patients with disabling conditions of the limbs and spine. In this role, you will fabricate custom orthoses and their component to support all patient orthopedic needs.

Responsibilities

  • You will independently perform fabrication and repair of upper and lower orthopedic and/or prosthetic devices according to CTU Orthopedic quality and quantity standards under the direction of Clinical Supervisor-Orthopedics and/or Orthotist
  • You will problem solve unique, one-of-a-kind orthoses
  • You will participate in ordering and receiving and inventory tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Registered (MA-R)
  • Registered/Certified Orthopedic Tech credentialing from ASOP /NAOT
  • Minimum one (1) year of outpatient experience
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience of Orthopedic Tech
  • Consideration will be given to internal candidates not meeting minimum requirements

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $26.01 - $42.99 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
