SUMMARY OF ROLE:

In this role, you will use your hands-on expertise in data science and machine learning to deliver valuable insights in the areas of oncology and neurology to inform strategy and decision making of the Commercial Leadership Team.

Develops and/or uses algorithms and statistical predictive models and determines analytical approaches and modeling techniques to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomes. Performs analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve multiple and/or complex business problems utilizing advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses and broad knowledge of the organization and/or industry

Collaborates with business partners to understand their problems and goals, develop predictive modeling, statistical analysis, data reports and performance metrics. Develops and participates in presentations and consultations to existing and prospective constituents on analytics results and solutions. Interacts with internal and external peers and managers to exchange complex information related to areas of specialization

Use strong knowledge in algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns and recommend solutions.

Use strong programming skills to explore, examine and interpret large volumes of data in various forms

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Vice President of Commercial Insights Analytics:



  • Identify data science analytics needs by collecting Stakeholders input on required KPIs and metrics. Perform discovery phase from data and business process perspective to indicate best approach towards analytics calculations.
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience in developing and training AI/GenAI models.
  • Apply advanced Python skills for data analysis, model building, and deployment.
  • Support data strategy implementation through data science analysis, enabling the development and application of analytics solutions.
  • Assist business stakeholders with analyses that drive behavior change and improve processes and performance.
  • Employ best-in-class data science techniques to support solution design efforts.
  • Collaborate with business teams to enhance data models for business intelligence tools and data science models, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in building and training AI/GenAI models.
  • Utilize Python for data analysis, model building, and deployment.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and the application of data science solutions.
  • Perform data analysis to design fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Use strong knowledge in algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns and recommend solutions.
  • Use strong programming skills to explore, examine and interpret large volumes of data in various forms.

CAPABILIITIES / COMPETENCIES:



  • Extensive experience in developing and training AI/GenAI models.
  • High-level proficiency in Python for data science applications.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in most areas of mathematical analysis methods, machine learning, statistical analyses, and modeling.
  • High degree of integrity, confidence, self-awareness, and learning agility.
  • Customer-centric and solutions-oriented attitude.
  • Proven track record in providing solutions based on business user needs.
  • Experience working with outsourced support teams, including with team members based offshore (e.g. in India).


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:



  • Master's degree in Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in data analytics and/or data science.


Preferred:



  • Experience in Oncology and Neurology
  • Clinical and/or technical discipline knowledge (e.g., radiopharmaceuticals, theragnostics, treatment paradigms, and future trends)


OTHER REQUIREMENTS



  • Routine overnight travel based on business need and frequent weekend work may be required.
  • Valid driver's license
