Description
The Director of Systems Engineering Operations will provide leadership, technical oversight, and management of the Systems Operations team, which includes our Engineering and Software teams and our technicians. The position is responsible to oversee the manufacturing aspects of our systems projects - to assign, plan, and manage the resources - coordinating this work with additional team leaders providing resources to these projects, including our Technical Physics Team and our Project Management Team. Additional responsibilities include developing and driving continuous improvement initiatives and quality control and safety procedures; implementing standardized engineering practices; interfacing, communicating, and collaborating with functional teams, stakeholders, and other departments as needed; managing costs and schedules; aligning operations activities with business objectives and strategic goals; and overseeing the performance, efficiency, and development of the Systems Operations team. Education
Bachelors of Engineering (required)
Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive engineering responsibility
