Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our team to help contribute to our success and help us solve problems with innovation through intelligence.This Senior Program/Project/Management Analyst (PM) responsibility is to serve as the primary interface and point of contact (POC) with the Prime contractor and System High leadership on staffing, personnel, and technical program/project issues. The PM primary duties are to provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership to the System High team.This role requires active engagement with workforce and at multiple sites, some of which will require travel. This PM will have the full authority to commit the System High Team to all operational functions in support of the contract, and to represent and act for the company in all matters relative to the execution of the contract.

Functional Description:

The PM will apply analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyze requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.

The PM will collect, complete, organize and interpret data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.

The PM will track program/project status and schedules.

The PM will apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.

Required Experience Security Project/Program Management Support:

Has extensive experience and knowledge of the DoD Navy and NAVAIR Security Guidelines and has demonstrated experience implementing and effectively managing security requirements (INFOSEC/INDUSEC/OPSEC/COMSEC/PHYSEC) and documentation required for a program/project. Has provided subject matter expertise in the area of standard security discipline procedures. Able to identify security risks associated with a project/program and provide recommendations to program management for mitigation.

The Senior Program Manager will perform the following responsibilities:




  • Apply the principles of Servant Leadership to coach, mentor, train and develop employees.





  • Build and manage relationships with workforce, corporate department heads, and external partners to optimize program performance.





  • Act as a trusted partner; balancing customer needs, employee care and corporate performance in all decisions to provide high quality customer support.





  • Provide/develop guidance and direction to employees and teaming partners on policies with regards to execution of labor hours, extended work weeks, travel, comp time, etc.





  • Provide written monthly reports on the execution of the contract to include direct labor hours, direct labor costs; other labor costs and breakdown of ODC funds expended on projects and purchases





  • Coach, mentor, and lead a large team of professionals in support of contract requirements.





  • Manage Profit and Loss (P&L) of assigned contracts and should have experience in managing multiple contract types (CP, FFP, T&M etc.)





  • Direct company resources and budgets responsibly to contribute to the overall success of assigned contract and company.





  • Employ and maintain oversight of multiple teams dispersed across the continental United States.





  • Other duties as assigned.





Required Skills (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):





  • Knowledge of SAP, SCI, and Collateral information required.





  • Demonstrated experience with flag-officer level briefings and senior-level interface.





  • Demonstrated knowledge of DoD 5000 series (DoD acquisition).





  • The candidate shall have the capability and proven successful experience in planning, budgeting, recruiting, directing, coordinating, scheduling, and supervising the activities of professional security personnel to complete tasks relating to the provision of a multi-faceted security program in a classified environment.





  • Ability to constructively engage and resolve challenging situations.





  • Available to work before and/or after typical office hours as work may demand.





  • Independent self-starter, proactive and professionally assertive.





  • Proven ability to maximize team performance to position and sustain our services to be invaluable to current and new customers.





  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).





  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.





  • Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.





  • Ability to multitask.





  • Availability to support extensive travel (25-50%).





Clearance




  • Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility current within the last five years.





Certification Requirements




  • PMP desired.





Years of Experience/Education Requirements




  • Minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience in the 13-1082 labor category with a high school degree.





  • Allowable substitutions: Possess a BA/BS degree plus six (6) years' or an associate's degree plus eight (8) years performing work in the related labor category of 13-1082





  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.
