Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work Onsite with our client in Grand Prairie, TX. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The client is seeking a contractor for a Systems Integration and Test (I&T) Staff Engineer to support I&T planning and execution for the RF Sensor Product Center.
  • Participates in the DOORS requirements definition and traceability process to ensure testability is built into the system's development
  • Planning, Preparing, and Conducting non-standard tests unique to the mission.
  • Creating documentation, coordinating lab support and test support, and conducting tests
  • Verifies that integrated HW and SW modules can achieve the overall physical, functional, and performance objectives.
  • Verifies that system interfaces are compliant with associated ICDs.
  • Correctly reports and interfaces with other program disciplines, program management, and customers.
  • Interfaces with engineering design IPTs and test facilities to ensure their components are properly validated before delivery.
  • Verify that test data is recorded and cataloged appropriately.
  • Generate concise but thorough test reports purpose-built for use in functional configuration audits and related V&V events.

Hours: 4/10A-1st Shift

Length: Temporary (12 months)

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 6 year of experience with Information Security.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience with Testing and Development.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience with Developing/executing test plans.
  • Minimum 8 years of Missile Flight Test or Flying Test Bed Field Experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with development programs, test planning/execution, and test report generation.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with RF systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to generate documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports, as well as status reports, and perform anomaly characterizations and root cause analyses.
  • Understand and address security issues, including protection of classified hardware and software and software loading requirements.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate effectively with software engineers, designers, and production personnel.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of subsystem HW/SW capabilities, sensor capability, emitter capability, and permissions for their use.
  • Demonstrated the ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate other integration participants for I&T program efficiency.
  • Demonstrated effective Customer presentations that include performance results, schedule status, and corrective action details.
  • Demonstrate awareness of test equipment management, including function, calibration, and security requirements.
