Boston Government Services, LLC. (BGS) is seeking a System Administrator to support our clients at Pantex, Amarillo, TX.

Requirements:

  • Level 3:
    • Master's degree in a technical field with limited experience or bachelor's degree in a technical field and 2 to 5 years of related experience or associate's degree in a technical field and 5 to 10 years of related experience. Requires advanced knowledge and understanding in area of expertise and associated equipment, processes or systems.
  • Level 4:
    • Ph.D. in a technical field with limited experience or master's degree in a technical field and 2 to 5 years of related experience or bachelor's degree in a technical field and 6 to 10 years of related experience or associate's degree in a technical field and 10 to 15 years of related experience. Requires demonstrated in-depth knowledge and skills in technical specialty.
  • Must be US citizen.
  • Successful drug screening.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.
  • An active US Department of Energy (DOE) Q Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Red Hat Linux - Server Administration must be proficient in one or more of the following, the resume should clearly delineate which administrator services experienced in:
    • Understanding and using essential tools for handling files, directories, and common-line environments.
    • Linux create/manage/utilize runbooks/documents.
    • Strong scripting skills in shell and/or python.
    • Manage operating systems, including booting into different run levels, identifying processes and controlling services.
    • Configurating local storage using partitions and logical volumes, RAID configuration and maintenance.
    • Creating and configuring file systems and file system attributes, such as permission, encryption, access controls lists (ACLs), and network file systems.
    • Software installation and updating; deploying, configuring, and maintaining systems.
    • Managing users and groups.
    • Managing of security and basic firewall configurations.
    • Parallel and multiprocessing programming interfaces.
    • High Performance Computing cluster schedulers and resource managers.
  • An active US Department of Energy (DOE) Q clearance or an equivalent clearance from an agency such as the US Department of Defense (DOD), US Department of State (DOS), US Department of Justice (DOJ) Top Secret Clearance.

Location/Work Arrangement:

  • This position a fully onsite position at Pantex On-Site, Amarillo, TX.
