Overview

The Financial Operations Representative-Senior shall be responsible for the efficient, accurate and timely processing/reporting of all cash outflows and disbursement. The individual will collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to ensure all service levels are met and inquiries are addressed appropriately.

Qualifications
  • Associates degree required. An additional two (2) years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Three (3) years of accounts payable experience required. Experience coaching and providing feedback to others preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with web-based applications (Workday, etc.).
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Capacity to understand and manage regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to train and delegate tasks to team.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand complex business problems and support cost effective solutions.
  • Experience working with internal/external customers and providing quality customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.

Essential Accountabilities
  • Support accurate and timely completion of payment runs for IHA and its affiliates.
  • Manage the department email box. Respond to all inquiries and resolve outstanding issues within departmental service level agreement timelines.
  • Provide guidance and support to Financial Operations Accounts Payable staff. Review EIB files for Financial Operations Accounts Payable staff to upload to Workday for payment.
  • Approve Supplier Invoices/Unpaid Prepaid Invoices.
  • Approve Purchase/Change Orders.
  • Approve Supplier additions/changes.
  • Prepare annual 1099 reporting.
  • Complete all void and reissues of checks/payments as needed, ensuring appropriate reissuing and cancellation of voided transactions.
  • Provide accurate coding for check deposits to Cash Receipts Team.
  • Reconcile and code supplier invoices as needed.
  • Reconcile petty cash boxes.
  • Respond to Siebel requests as needed, ensuring refund requests are processed on time and accurately.
  • Accounts Payable Operations Account Monthly Reconciliation for IHA and its affiliates.
  • Prepare annual Abandoned Property 1315 filing, to include accurate reporting, timely correspondence, monitoring responses, reissuing or voiding checks, and preparing the final filing to the state by the required deadline.
  • Miscellaneous business reporting as needed.
  • Identify/create operational efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Coordinate/support internal and external audit requests.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain operations policies and procedures.

Hiring Compensation Range: $24.00 - $27.00 hourly

Compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to skills, education, location and experience.

In addition to base compensation, associates may be eligible for a scorecard incentive, full range of benefits and generous paid time off. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
