People Operations Specialist

Position Summary:

The People Operations Specialist will work within the HR function on the People Operations team. This individual will be responsible for projects and support related to HR technology/systems, reporting, employee questions, HR policies & compliance, and new employee onboarding and orientation.

Key Responsibilities Include:



  • Employee & HR Team Support

    • Maintain People Operations content and knowledge articles in Workday Help and on the company intranet; keep content up-to-date and accessible, remove outdated/irrelevant content
    • Assist with new employee onboarding and orientation
    • Oversee vendor contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and invoices for the People Operations and Total Rewards teams
    • Fulfill scheduled and ad hoc reporting requests from HR team and the business
    • Monitor cases in Workday Help and the HR mailbox; process queries and respond in a timely and professional manner, adhering to SLAs
    • Participate in audits and compliance requests as needed
    • Develop resources and training materials for employees such as how-to guides, SOPs, presentation materials, instructional videos


  • Benefits & Compensation Support

    • Respond to Tier I benefits and compensation questions from employees
    • Conduct new employee benefits orientation
    • Support regulatory filings and benefits reporting
    • Conduct benefits benchmarking/surveys


  • HRIS Configuration, System Maintenance & Production Support

    • HRIS (Workday) super-user
    • Responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of global HR data within the system through data entry, updates, and audits
    • Support any migrations/upgrades to newer HRIS versions; support ongoing design changes and system configuration


  • Other Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrate a high degree of ownership and accountability in delivering quality results
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
    • Other duties and projects as assigned





Education, Registration & Certification:



  • BS/BA is preferred



Experience



  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a human resources or generalist role
  • Workday experience (HCM, Talent Optimization, Payroll, Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Absence are preferred modules)



Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:



  • Strong interest in Human Resources and in developing new skills & abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive information
  • Demonstrated skills in managing independent & small-group projects
  • Demonstrated complex problem-solving ability and sound judgement
  • Ability to work across different levels of the organization
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Highly organized, results driven, problem solver
  • Superior written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel



Physical Demands and Work Environment:

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing may be required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Travel Requirements:



  • Expected travel to the Company's headquarters
  • Additional travel may be required
