Nurse Midwife

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has a Midwife opportunity with NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. Harlem Hospital is located on 135th Street in Manhattan and has been certified as a Baby-Friendly hospital by the World Health Organization. The OBGYN service has a 24-hour pain management service, with five birthing suites and a 17-bed inpatient unit. Harlem Hospital features a da Vinci Robot and a full GYN service, which includes minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, urogynecology, an active robotic surgical service, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. On average, the OBGYN service has 800 live births annually.The hospital maintains an academic affiliation withColumbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

• Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
• FHRT readings
• Direct clinical care to mothers and babies
• Care for underserved, high-risk patients

• American Midwifery Board Certification
• BLS and NRP Certification required
• At least 5 years' experience
• Experience in Centering Pregnancy Programs, required
