Customer Support / System Administrator

Our long-term client relationship with NASA has led to a need for a Customer Support / System Administrator on the Human Space Flight Technical Integration (HSFTIC) contract at Marshall Flight Space Center (Huntsville, AL).

The NASA Russia Services Team is seeking a Customer Support/System Administrator.

The Customer Support / System Administrator will:

Provide Customer Support and System Administration of NASA IT Services in Moscow, Russia in support of the International Space Station project.
• Assist with daily operations and assist with all matters related to these international services, including customer defined changes, technology refresh, diagnostic support using analysis tools, reporting metrics of performance, and network security documentation.
• Interact with team lead and peers on a daily basis and interact w/customers.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

• BS Degree in a related field (CS, CIS, MIS, etc.) from an accredited college or university, plus ten (10) years of related experience in customer support related to IT services.
• Must be familiar with Windows 10/11, Office Suite, and demonstrate positive written and oral skills.
• Possess current or be able to obtain valid Passport for international travel and be able to travel to Russia.

Preferences:

• IT Support / Admin Skills related to Windows Servers, Windows 10/11, Dell workstations, Dell laptops, HP Printers, Scanners, Apple Mobile Devices.

Essential Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.

• Work may involve sitting for extended periods.
• May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb.
• Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary.
• Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
• Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)
• Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.
• Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
• Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
• Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.
• Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
• This position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed.
