FHI 360's Human Development Programs (HDP) Division implements civil society strengthening; reproductive, maternal, neonatal and child health (RMNCH); water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH); health systems strengthening; and youth and workforce development programs. While the majority of these projects are USAID-funded, the department also has a rapidly growing portfolio of non-USAID and non-US government-funded programs with a variety of multilateral, foundation and private donors. Position Summary: The Associate Director, Programs and Projects will support the Sr. Director for HDP and project leaders in program management for FHI 360's portfolio in Human Development Programs practice areas. The Associate Director, Programs and Projects will work closely with the Sr. Director of the HDP Division to develop goals and objectives for this new program team. The Associate Director, Programs and Projects will also work with and through project staff to lead project start-up for new programs owned by the HDP Division including: workplan and budget development (in collaboration with technical and finance staff), subgrant development and review, compliance and programmatic monitoring and close-out; liaise with project offices related to program management and execution; ensure compliance with internal and external regulations; environmental mitigation and monitoring plans, team operating agreements; prepare presentations and support other related program objectives and deliverables. The Associate Director, Programs and Projects will support the coordination of new business efforts led by the HDP team, as neededThis position will work collaboratively with other Global Programs staff outside of the HDP Division, including those from the Business Development and Partnerships team, Strategic Growth, Global Research, and the US and Regional Programs team. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and program management skills, experience with business development processes, and be a strategic out-of-box thinker who is ready to cultivate and grow FHI 360's portfolio of global programs. Travel Requirements: Approximately 15% The expected US Basedhiringsalary range for this role is listed below. Candidate FHI 360 pay ranges represent national averages that vary by geographic location. When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, business sector, and budget. Base salary is only one component of our offer. FHI 360 contributes 12% of monthly base pay to a money purchase pension plan account. Additionally, all US based staff working full-time, which is calculated at 40 hours/week, receive 18 days of paid vacation per year, 12 sick days per year, and 11 holidays per year. Paid time off is reduced pro rata for employees working less than a full-time schedule. US Based Hiring Salary Range:$100,000 - $152,000 International hiring ranges will differ based on location.
