Primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Program Protection Planner and advisor to the International Branch Materiel Leader for the establishment and suitability of protection countermeasures within an acquisition system portfolio for information and weapons systems in development, production, testing, modification, fielding, and sustainment across all national security classification domains.

* Implements policy, takes on responsibilities, and provides procedures for Program/Project Managers and Engineers to manage system security and cybersecurity technical risks from foreign intelligence collection; hardware, software, cyber, and cyberspace vulnerabilities; supply chain exploitation; and reverse engineering in the interest of national security.

* Offer technical expertise in developing and ensuring international security requirements are met by all parties, to include Industry, U.S., and foreign customers. Responsible for verifying/validating adequate protection of Government property, classified and/or Controlled Unclassified Information.

* Conducts joint site visits/inspections with supporting USG certification agencies.

* Willingness and ability to support the USG customer 100% on site

* Provide program protection technical expertise and guidance, identifies and applies traditional Information Protection safeguards to compliment cyber resiliency. Responsible for day-to-day Security administration within the assigned program office.

* Provide technical support/manages division Security Classification Guides.

* Examines security initiatives, protection measures and processes for horizontal application across platforms, systems, and organizational lines. Supports goals and objectives that integrate the organization and security objectives.

* 5 or more years of experience in program security

* Top Secret clearance with SAP experience. Must be SCI eligible

* Willingness and ability to travel, not to exceed 25%

* This position is indexed for Security Professional Education and Development (SPeD) certifications.
