Job Description:

Essential Job Functions

  • Lead organizational investigations when necessary or at direction of CPO
  • Oversee and lead the investigation and resolution of any employee relations issues.
  • Maintain a robust employee-centered corrective action process.
  • Act as advisor with the assistance of the Chief People Officer to Operations leadership on employee relations practice in the organization.
  • Review and advise on various employee relations strategies of the organization.
  • Oversee and maintain program compliance and initiate corrective actions, as indicated in the compliance audits.
  • Manage and grow the employee experience program.
  • Work to identify potential legal issues and to ensure compliance with wage and hour issues, disability accommodation and other potential litigation issues.
  • Assist with legal and other employee training as directed by Chief People Officer.
  • Oversee maintenance and documents of ER database.
  • Create, review, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current laws and best practices.
  • Stay abreast of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations and ensure all HR practices are in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and implements changes as necessary to maintain compliance.
  • Compile and analyze HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports on key HR metrics for senior management.
  • Compile data to drive strategic HR initiatives and decisions.
  • Provide strategic oversight and guidance to the talent acquisition team to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding.
  • Ensure recruiting and other HRIS systems are effectively utilized to support HR/ER recruiting processes and initiatives.
  • Fill in with Recruiting when necessary.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Master's degree preferred.

Experience

  • Ten plus years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a HR leadership role.
  • Employee Relations and Recruiting experience preferred.

  • Accredited HR Certification
