Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Growth & Strategy Proposal Manager to guide our proposal development and Capture strategy and streamline capture processes. The ideal candidate will proficiently handle proposal management, oversee capture and drive growth through strategic expansions. This role requires a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Capture Management:

  1. Lead capture efforts by identifying new business opportunities and comprehensively understanding market trends and customer needs.
  2. Develop and execute capture plans, coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and insights for successful proposals.
  3. Develop and implement comprehensive capture strategies that align with the company's growth objectives and enhance the probability of winning federal contracts.
  4. Conduct thorough research and analysis of the federal marketplace to identify potential opportunities and evaluate the competitive landscape.
  5. Collaborate with the growth team to identify high-potential opportunities and prioritize pursuits based on alignment with the company's capabilities and strategic goals.

Proposal Management:

This role is crucial to ensuring our team has the resources it needs to craft compelling and efficient proposals that enhance our competitive edge in capturing opportunities.

  1. Lead the proposal development process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals that effectively address client requirements and highlight the company's competitive advantages.
  2. Conduct a thorough assessment of the current proposal library to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize its organization and accessibility.
  3. Develop and implement a strategy for expanding the proposal library by incorporating high-quality content, templates, and case studies that align with evolving business needs and market trends.
  4. Manage the entire proposal lifecycle, from initial planning to submission, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, compelling proposals.
  5. Leverage and strategically delegate proposal responsibilities to specialized proposal teams, ensuring optimal alignment of expertise with project requirements and enhancing the overall quality and effectiveness of each submission.
  6. Collaborate with subject matter experts and technical teams to develop content tailored to specific client requirements and evaluation criteria.
  7. Facilitate proposal review processes, ensuring compliance with guidelines and client expectations.
  8. Enhance and expand our current proposal library, ensuring that our team has access to top-notch resources for winning submissions. This role involves curating, organizing, and maintaining a comprehensive repository of proposal materials to support growth and capture management efforts. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of proposal development practices.
  9. Collaborate closely with the Product and Innovation Center team to proactively and comprehensively address SBIR requirements, ensuring robust and competitive submissions that maximize chances of success.
  10. Responsible for responding to all data calls for prime and sub roles.
  11. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including program and project teams, operations, and product teams, to gather necessary input and maintain content that reflects the latest service and product offerings and capabilities.

Strategic Growth and Client Engagement:

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients to identify growth avenues and enhance partnerships.
  2. Drive strategies that align with corporate growth objectives, actively engaging in networking and industry events to promote Impyrian.
  3. Manage and maintain growth and strategy opportunity pipeline while keeping informed on upcoming and active RFPs.

Process Improvement and Reporting:

  1. Continuously evaluate and refine the proposal development and capture processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  2. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting successes and opportunities in the proposal lifecycle and growth strategy.

Technology Utilization:

Leverage AI and advanced tools and technologies for efficient library management, including searchability, categorization, and user-friendly access features.

Quality Assurance:

Regularly review library content for quality and ensure all materials meet our high standard of excellence in presentation, branding, and messaging.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in proposal management, capture planning, and/or growth roles.

Excellent project management skills with experience managing complex projects involving cross-functional collaboration.

Strong capture skills and experience in building high-performing teams.

Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Ability to think strategically with a focus on business growth and client relationship development.

Preferred:

Experience with federal contracting.

Knowledge of Government Technology, processes and requirements.

APMP certification or similar industry credentials.
