Maintenance Technician - Conroe, TX

We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join our Conroe, TX team. You will install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipes and electrical systems at site.

You will:

  • Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts
  • Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment
  • Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment
  • Troubleshoot or repair machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers
  • Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools. Operate cutting torches to cut or join metal parts.

Key Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 3 - 7 years of maintenance experience
  • Must be able to stand and work 10 hours a day
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Be able to set up and operate basic, manual metal fabrication machines
  • Be able to utilize calibrated precision measuring instruments
  • Be able to read and interpret blueprints

Shift/Hours:

  • 1st shift hours Monday through Thursday from 5am - 3:30pm
  • Must be open to working overtime if needed on Friday

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $30.00. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
