Responsibilities

Summary: Enables sales team success by coordinating development and deployment of digital tools that support sales.

Principal Duties Responsibilities:

  • Working with various internal or external stakeholders, collect and translate end-user requirements into understandable and executable software features or functionality.
  • Create a consensus among stakeholders and make sure that expectations are aligned on the proposed solution and project plan.
  • Routinely communicate measurable project progress as well as obstacles, then create mitigation plans to achieve the program's aims and objectives.
  • Drive and carry out end user acceptability, testing, change management, and use cases for new digital projects and enhancements.
  • Ensure user adoption for applications post launch through training, promotion, and adoption metrics.
  • Lead the modification of existing Aesculap/B Braun global sales or customer enablement applications to make acceptable for use in the United States.
  • Create compelling fact-based presentations that make a business case for investments, partnerships, and collaborations in attractive opportunities
  • Lead the development, execution and implementation of new commercial programs and enhancements
  • Set pricing strategies, approaches, and guidelines for commercial offerings
  • Lead the creation of required business documents such as proposals and contracts.
  • Work with Marketing, Analytics, Client Success and other relevant teams to continuously collect and synthesize Voice of Customer (VOC) data to inform strategic decisions and product development
  • Translate VOC into actionable commercial program development goals that address unmet customer needs
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and other teams to define execution plans for go-to-market strategies, and ensure successful execution in the marketplace
  • Develop ongoing strategic partnership plan, and manage partnerships to drive maximize value creation
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure new strategic partnerships to maximize revenue opportunities and customer value
  • Define segment-based commercial and go-to-market strategies
  • Create segment-specific product positioning and value propositions based on customer insights
  • Maintain a close partnership with Marketing to ensure customer messaging and business strategy are always aligned
  • Lead competitive assessment and development or refinement of supporting strategies to defend or exploit competitive positions, offerings, or actions
  • Provide support to the sales force and functional groups as it pertains to the details of your program offerings.
  • Participate at trade shows, workshops and meetings where customers of your assigned programs attend.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.
  • Lead team projects and cross-functional assignments.
  • Must comply with applicable ISO and FDA regulations as stated in Quality Manual

Secondary or peripheral job functions:

  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally by air and car, and work occasional weekends. Must possess a valid government issued driver's license and passport.
  • Requires excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Computer skills in Windows, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word desirable.
  • This position requires the handling of instruments that may have been contaminated by blood or other bodily fluids. In compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, Aesculap will provide a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Able to pass and maintain annual Vendor Credentials such that healthcare facilities allow entrance into patient care areas in direct association with marketing and selling of groups products.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Manages personnel such as Associate Business Managers in the responsible areas.

The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable estimate.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent; 3 - 5 years work experience, specifically in Marketing field.
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Language and mathematical skills; reasoning ability:

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect date, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
