We offer free snacks and drinks to show our appreciation to our team members The Job at a Glance AsaSr.MaintenanceTechnician,internally known astheAutomationWhisperer,youwillbe the top level ofsupportfor themechanical systems in our Fulfillment Center.Youwill beresponsible forperformingpreventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex problems and performing mission-critical repairs on equipment to keep the Fulfillment Centerfully operational. You will work closely with vendors and internal partners to diagnose problems and perform repairs over a widerange of material handling equipment to supportsafe and efficient operations. A Typical Day Performadvancedpreventative maintenance onconveyor systems in the distribution center including sorters, powered conveyors, truck loaders, and other material handling equipment. Using priorknowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic andcomputer-controlledequipment to diagnoseroot cause of complex problems. Performemergency repairs onthe most complexequipment as needed. Training level 2technicians and apprentices in proper maintenance, repair, and inspection methods. Perform daily visual and auditory inspections of the equipment, noting and addressing issues found. Performadvanceddiagnostic tests as neededand coordinates support activities with 3^rdparty vendors. Act astop-levelsupport forfire/sprinkler systems, standby generator, HVAC equipment etc. and other equipment within the fulfillment center. Climbingladders, usingforklifts, scissor lifts, saws, drills,hand tools,etc. Partnerwiththe Fulfillment Centerleadership team tounderstand mission and supports needed operational changes through planning and executing directives. To Land This Opportunity You have5+years ofmechanicalexperience in an automated distribution center environment utilizing powered conveyors, sorters, and other automated material handling equipment. Youexcel attroubleshootingcomplexproblems withelectrical,mechanical,pneumatic,andcomputer-controlledequipmentin anindustrial environment. You can perform complex repairs of equipment with the help of remote support andhaveexperience reading technical manuals and blueprints You have a valid driver'slicense,andwillingness to infrequently travelto other facilities as needed You're an all-star communicator and are fluent in English (both written and verbal) You havetheability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform 8 or more hours of standing, bending, lifting,walking,and carrying products in combination at any given time About Your Future Team At Parts Town, we valuetransparencyand are committed to ensuring our team members feel appreciated and supported. Thesalaryrange for this role is $52,173.12 - 63,767.14 annually ($25.08 - 30.65 hourly) which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is apayfor performance-company. In addition to basepay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role.
