Overview

Our Nuclear Services Group is seeking a Part Time Administrative Assistant for our Overland Park, KS location. In this exciting role, you will be the backbone of the office, ensuring smooth operations by managing phone calls, scheduling, and maintaining office supplies while offering excellent customer service to internal and external clients. From overseeing equipment maintenance to coordinating meetings and supporting special events, you'll play a crucial part in keeping everything running efficiently and ensuring a welcoming environment for all.



Responsibilities

A day in this role is a dynamic blend of managing office operations, supporting staff and clients with a smile, and ensuring everything runs smoothly while keeping the workplace well-equipped and efficient. Every day offers new challenges and opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

    Reception & Communication: Be the welcoming face of the office, guiding phone calls and maintaining contact lists to keep everyone connected and informed
  • Office Operations & Supplies: Anticipate needs and ensure the office is always fully stocked and equipped, ensuring smooth daily operations for the team
  • Scheduling & Reporting: Keep everything on track by managing the department calendar, preparing insightful reports, and ensuring new employees are set up for success from day one
  • Administrative Support: Empower the team by handling administrative tasks with precision and efficiency, ensuring the office runs like a well-oiled machine
  • Event & Meeting Coordination: Create memorable experiences by assisting with the setup, coordination, and cleanup of events and meetings that leave a lasting impact
  • Client & Staff Support: Provide exceptional service by addressing questions and requests, while being the trusted support for the Catering Administrative Assistant and the entire team


Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in applicable field and minimum 3 years experience or High School diploma and minimum 5 years experience
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to be proactive
  • Team player with positive attitude
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, planning and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize daily tasks
  • Ability to multi-task or change gears quickly
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs
