Operations Integration Engineer

The NASA-KSC Artemis Program requires a full-time operations integration engineer to support the advanced planning and payload integration team for future Artemis mission processing at Kennedy Space Center. The candidate will be responsible for developing concept of operations packages and schedules for processing future Artemis missions. This include participating in the development of various studies and working groups as the operational team representative. The successful candidate will assist in requirements management, ground systems integration, and other systems engineering activities necessary to integrate supporting ground systems and facilities. The candidate shall serve as the primary point of contact for all organizational change request management. Responsibility also includes obtaining the Element Operations Manager certification to support contingency shift coverage for KSC processing facility operations.

Minimum Requirements:

* Minimum of 4 years' experience, preferably experience in launch vehicle, facility, payloads, transportation, test integration, or operations.

* Knowledge of ground support equipment utilized for flight hardware lifting, servicing, integration, and operations.

* Knowledge of Concept of Operations development, integration, and implementation.

* Proficiency in technical document review to include design drawings.

* Self-starter with outstanding organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

* Effective and clear communicator with the ability to present technical issues.

* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment co-located with multiple cross program customers and contractors.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as commercial business applications.

Education and Relevant Work Experience:

*The position requires a BS in Engineering or technical equivalent and 4 years of relevant work experience.
