Position Title: Director - Regional Retail Position Summary: The Regional Retail Director leads, coaches and manages a group of Branch Managers and their respective teams to achieve sales and service goals in support of the strategic business plan. Develops and leverages relationships with key partners to drive integrated business results. Ensures that the regulatory requirements, and operational policies and procedures are implemented and followed. Provides guidance and consults with staff, peers, and supervisors to ensure that credit union resources are properly allocated to generate optimal returns on investment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manages and coaches branch managers to drive desired financial performance. Transfer the knowledge and best practice techniques to branch managers for coaching on how employees gain in-depth knowledge of members' financial life priorities and connect them to TDECU solutions that meet their financial goals, as a result drive deeper member relationships and improve employee productivity. Increase branch manager proficiency on assessing branch performance and profitability through operational metrics, management tools and techniques, and seeks improvement opportunities through sales and service framework. Recruits, retains, and develops excellent talent to be member passionate. Encourage integration and cooperation between branch manager, bankers, and partners (mortgage, wealth, insurance, business services Addresses any escalated member issues promptly and effectively. Instills an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and able to achieve career growth. Drives growth in the business. Develop a strategy to achieve key financial metrics including deposit and loan balance growth, member acquisition and retention, and expense management Leads their team and operate as a business owner by observing and coaching team and individual performance to collectively meet goals, establishing action plans as applicable. Drives integration with partners from Wealth, Business Services, Insurance, and Mortgage to give our members access to solutions, strategies, and expertise to give our members one place to meet all their financial needs. Continuously assess local Market conditions and implement plans to capture growth opportunities - loan and deposit relationships - aligned with our strategic focus. Manages the market to ensure an excellent member experience. Have a passion for our members which results in all our employees meeting and exceeding our member expectations and creating a member centric culture. Actively coaches and trains branch managers on member financial education, member service, and SEG (Select Employer Group) relations emphasizing complete relationship banking. Ensures that all branch managers are effectively mitigating risk and remaining in compliance to guarantee a safe banking experience for members.
