Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential need for a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at the Palo Alto VA Medical Center with opportunities to work at the following locations:

Menlo Park, CA
• Palo Alto, CA
• Livermore, CA

• Active California CNA Certification
• Current BLS Certification
• 2 Years of Clinical Experience
• U.S. Citizenship
• High School Diploma

Direct Patient Care (90% of the time):

• Deliver comprehensive nursing assistant services comparable to those in top-tier civilian medical facilities.
• Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and physicians to ensure high-quality care.
• Provide care at all stages, adhering to VA and Joint Commission standards.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment necessary for care delivery.
• Educate patients and their families on health and wellness topics.

Administrative Duties (10% of the time):

• Participate in quality improvement activities and meetings.
• Complete quality assurance and performance improvement documentation.
• Maintain adherence to infection control standards and ensure patient safety.
• Accurately document care in the electronic medical record system.

• Full-Time | 40 hours per week
• Flexible shifts available between 7:00 AM and 12:00 AM
• Sample shifts include:
  • 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
  • 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
  • 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM
  • 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
