Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for electrical interconnect architecture and design of the controls and sensor payloads for the system
  • Experience in system integration and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of engineering architecture and design concepts along with an understanding of the engineering practices and procedures required to develop, test and deploy test systems.
  • Presentation and communication skills (verbal/written/visual)
  • Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Preparing and presenting technical briefings directly to internal and external customers as well as writing and supporting new and existing technical and cost proposals.

This position is based out of Santa Rosa, CA and is classified as a full-time, exempt, non-supervisory position.

  • Experience with CAD software
  • Proficient in using standard MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Able to support outdoor field tests, lab assembly, test and integration hands-on tasks, occasional lifting of hardware as required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

The salary range for this role is $160,000 to $175,000; however, Arete considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to: the position and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.

Other Requirements

U.S. citizenship is required to meet position eligibility.

Selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Successful passage of a criminal background screen is required to meet position eligibility. Arete will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring.
