Job Purpose We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Master Data Management (MDM) to lead our data governance initiatives across the organization. This role will be pivotal in driving data strategy, overseeing data quality, implementing best practices in data management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the efficiency of operations. What you will do... Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement the MDM strategy aligned with business objectives to ensure data is accurate, consistent, and accessible. Lead the maintenance of MDM covering multiple systems and boundary applications. Identify and mitigate any risks associated with data management. Training teams on proper data management practices. Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data management practices. Lead the data migration activities for importing legacy data for system implementation projects. Data Quality Management: Monitor and improve data quality metrics and processes. Identify and resolve data quality issues proactively. Monitor performance and capacity requirements. Design and optimize data workflows. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for MDM-related inquiries and initiatives. Work with stakeholders to align data practices with business objectives. Collaborate with IT, business units, and external partners to enhance data integration and usage. Technology & Tools: Oversee the selection, implementation and optimization of MDM tools and technologies. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data management. Maintain security, integrity, reliability, and availability. Experience in extracting data from ERP Applications and databases with leading MDM tools. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field. Minimum 6 years of experience in data management, leadership role preferred. Strong understanding of MDM concepts, data governance frameworks, data quality principles and data visualization tools. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of MS Office products (Power Point, Excel, Word, Project and Visio). Skills Strategic thinking and project management. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
