Administrative Assistant

RK&K is committed to finding a dedicated and strong Administrative Assistant for our Planning Department in our Baltimore, MD office. In this role, you will provide task-oriented support for our projects and teams. You will be responsible for these essential functions:

Essential Function



  • Completing orders and coordinating with vendors for office supplies, project materials, meeting catering, etc.
  • Creating and managing expense reports
  • Managing phones, mail, and shipping, printing
  • Assisting with scheduling meetings
  • Office/facilities communication, work orders
  • New employee onboarding
  • Printer/Copier/IT communication and support
  • Conference and training registrations
  • Travel arrangements
  • Greeting visitors
  • Scheduling meetings, meeting preparation
  • Reviewing proposals / marketing support
  • Data entry to support contract and proposal management
  • Project status report development and updates (from data provided by others)
  • Invoice tracking and support
  • Project budget and staff availability tracking support
  • Project document control & document management support


Required Skills and Experience



  • Minimum two (2) years' professional office administration experience
  • Microsoft Word and Excel skills with working knowledge of other Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in managing confidential or sensitive information
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and professional skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Highly organized and meticulous attention to detail


Preferred Skills and Experience



  • Associates' degree or higher
