Description Position Overview The pumper will be responsible for safely transferring propane gas into a compressed cylinder. This process involves connecting appropriate hoses and equipment, monitoring pressure levels throughout the transfer, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed to prevent leaks or accidents. After filling the cylinder, the pumper will need to securely close all valves and disconnect the equipment, ensuring that all procedures are documented as required. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities Physical Demands An employee must meet the physical demands described here to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Travel No Travel Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a part-time, non-exempt position. Monday through Friday, occasional Saturdays. Hours may vary with possible overtime.
