Key responsibilities include:



  • Primary support for inside sales / projects team and customer point of contact for execution on all key equipment projects as defined by the Equipment Directors
  • Utilizes the Rental Dashboard to follow up on New, Used and Rental quotes
  • Supports the sales team in equipment proposals for bid opportunities
  • Assist Equipment Director with problem solving and mitigation as necessary, including communication with sales team and customer to facilitate desired outcome
  • Management and oversight of all rental credits submitted to the department. Review all credit requests and implement containment action and/or best practices as necessary to reduce similar credits in the future.
  • Key project logistics: primary point of contact for adding/ returning equipment, managing the tracking for all machines and accessories, tracking service intervals
  • Assist Equipment Director with on boarding, training and development of new Rental team members
  • Missing accessory management for key equipment projects: Actively engages customers with missing accessories, tracks and resolves in a timely manner. Coordinate all billing related to missing accessories.


Additional responsibilities include:



  • Communicate and collaborate with the yard (warehouses) and sales team to ensure best customer experience through a variety of actions including:
  • Using prior experience, extract information from sales team by asking thoughtful questions. Follow-up on incomplete or ambiguous information until order can be fully and accurately executed.
  • Handling abnormal requests accurately and effectively, answering any questions.
  • Proactively communicate best method to handle exceptions and deviations from the norm.
  • Discuss recurring issues and collaborate with rental team and Manager to innovate and develop long term solutions.
  • Manage expectation between sales team and warehouses. Empathize with needs of sales team without overcommitting yards. Balance competing interests between multiple stakeholders.
  • Pro-actively meet with inside and outside sales team to develop strategies to increase efficiency in order execution and clarify procedures as needed
  • Coach Less experienced team members on best system practices
  • Cross train in other rental positions to assist during absences


Minimum Qualifications for Consideration



  • Education: Associate (Two year) college/technical school degree in sales, marketing, business or closely related field
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in the customer service environment and skilled at organization, communication and process management is preferred
  • Skills: Position requires knowledge of features, benefits and use/application of broad range of company products
