Packaging/Processing Utility - Week Night Shift

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career-driven, and customer-focused team. We are currently recruiting for a Packaging/Processing Utility to join our manufacturing professionals in Hanover, PA, on the Week Night Shift.

As a Packaging/Processing Utility, you'll play a vital role in preparing, operating, and monitoring extruder and related equipment for our cheese curls and balls production lines. This position works Monday-Thursday from 6:00 PM-6:00 AM, offering a steady schedule with time to enjoy the rest of your week!

• Prepares and operates popcorn processing, mixers, and slurry application machinery.
• Performs quality checks to ensure products meet established standards.
• Operates labeling, banding/sealing, and barrel-filling equipment.
• Verifies barrel weights and ensures proper coding on labels.
• Operates form-and-fill packing machines and equipment, including scales and printers.
• Performs daily end-of-shift cleaning.
• Enters component usage into the computer.
• Obtains and maintains a tow motor license and lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Adheres to all Good Manufacturing Practices and safety rules.
• Works proactively in a cross-functional team with diverse groups of people.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Forklift operator's license.
• Basic computer, reading, writing and math skills
• Ability to fluently communicate in and read English or Spanish.
• Must be willing and able to stand 100% of the time
• Regular lifting (50lbs).
