Seagate is seeking a highly motivated individual who is excellent at communication, creativity, and problem-solving. This person will play a crucial role in researching and connecting with potential sales prospects for our Lyve solutions. It's an exciting opportunity as Seagate aims to establish itself as a recognized provider of cloud and edge storage in a rapidly changing and highly competitive market.

About the role - you will:

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual who is energetic, passionate, and proactive in acquiring new business in Enterprise accounts for our Lyve products alongside seasoned Seagate reps. You thrive in a fast-paced dynamic organization where you can make a meaningful impact. You appreciate being recognized and rewarded for your outstanding performance. You possess excellent organizational skills and have the ability to learn and develop a long-term sales strategy within your assigned territory. Your goal will be to drive revenue growth and acquire new customers.



  • Proactively prospect using sales tools (LinkedIn, Outreach, etc...), to identify, qualify, and develop a sales pipeline
  • Qualification of outbound sales leads from target prospect lists aligned with big deal sizes in prioritized industries
  • Build strong and effective relationships and Champions
  • Understand our customers' challenges and articulate the Seagate value proposition
  • Hand-off of outbound sales leads to AEs through AE-preferred notification, appointment setting, and visibility during regional squad meetings
  • Account planning with AEs to stay aligned to prospect and account strategies and seamless follow-up conversations
  • Time management:

    • 60-80% outbound prospecting to execute target account strategy and support sales reps
    • 10-20% strategic account management & research (includes meeting with sales reps)
    • 10-20% other activities (salesforce management, team meetings, trainings)


  • Develop and deliver proposals that clearly address the customer's business, technical, TCO/ROI requirements
  • Engage cross-functionally in a matrix organizational structure - across Seagate sales teams and act as an internal partner

About you:

The ideal candidate will have experience in selling, a passion to learn how to drive new business, and communicate compelling business reasons to work with Seagate to potential customers. Your experience includes:

* Thrive in a highly competitive, fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency

* Ability to establish credibility and forge solid/positive professional relationships with people - Collaboration and cultural fit are critical

* Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to interface internally and externally with all levels

* Proficient with SFDC, LinkedIn, Navigator, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools

The estimated base salary range for this position is $62,000 - $84,000. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This position is also eligible to earn additional commission-based compensation pursuant to an established commission sales plan. Actual commission-based compensation will be based on performance and the eligible target incentive, as addressed in the applicable plan, all of which is subject to change.
