About our group:

We are a team of IT professionals from Seagate. We are responsible for the planning, design, implementation, organization, and operation of Seagate's data communications network, including VOICE, LANs and WANs, Internet, and Intranet.Seagate is the leader in enterprise and cloud storage solutions, 40% of the world's data is stored on Seagate devices.

About the role - you will:


  • Carry out day-to-day operational and technical support for network services.





  • Maintain updated schematic diagrams for infrastructure and low-level architecture design diagram.





  • Maintain updated inventory of network devices.





  • Monitoring network performance, system availability, and reliability to enable all Seagate sites, to run 24/7, 365 days per year





  • Installing and configuring network hardware such as Wireless AP, Switches, Phones, Routers.





  • Participate in network implementation projects wherever and whenever required for the local site, alongside supporting our global network team members

Your experience includes:

Required Technical Skills:




  • Knowledge in switching and routing such as VLAN, VXLAN, STP, VPC, HSRP, NAT, IPSec, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP.





  • Knowledge in IP communication and routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).





  • Knowledge in LAN / WAN / WIFI/ Structured Cabling and network equipment such as firewalls, switches, routers, wireless controller, load balancer, Infoblox.





  • Knowledge in network monitoring tools, automation, packet-level analysis of application and network protocols.





Your Experience Includes:




  • Skills in network protocols and technologies, familiarity with network\security principles, and experience with networking equipment are highly valued.





  • Have a Strong background or study in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.



Location:

The estimated base salary range for this position is $73,070.00 - $104,493.00. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
