Position Overview:The Operations Analyst will bea point-of-contact for leadership in private sector program initiatives. The positionis in conjunction with a supporting position of a Headquarters Security Officer Representative for a U.S. Department of Energy office. This position will provide support bydeveloping strategic partnerships, records management, knowledge management, handling of internal/external audits, periodic organization performance reviews, perform gap assessments, and tracking and/or responding to headquarters taskers/inquiries.

Responsibilities:



  • Upon meeting the pre-requisite requirements, position will serve as a Headquarters Security Officer Representative and supports the Office with all Security-related activities to include maintaining personnel records, security training and awareness, coordinating classified meetings, and facilitating the security clearance process for government, contractor, and private sector personnel.
  • Effectively collaborates with inter-agency partnerships (experience with Federal Agency programs/program support are helpful, or similar).
  • Supports various business operations requirements including the development/update of standard operating procedures, policy development, process development, and documenting best practices and lessons learned.
  • Utilizes strong analytical skills and visual capabilities combined with industry experience to develop metrics, track goals, assess program performance, present results, and make recommendations for adjustment.
  • Provides program tracking and analytics, data visualization, reporting outputs, and strategic integration.
  • Pivots program processes to align with periodic changes in operational requirements.
  • Aligns leadership with program priorities and provides program updates.

Job Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field. Master's Degree is a plus
  • 2-4 years of experience supporting federal programs
  • Excellent communication skills, orally and in writing, for the purpose of interacting with internal and external stakeholders; cross departmental coordination; and developing briefings and written reports and materials, and other written products.
  • Excellent attention to details, self-motivated, reliable, and dedicated to customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent MS Excel skills and proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint, and other business software to enhance administrative and operational efficiencies.
  • Comfortable learning new systems.


Experience working with private sector program initiatives at DOE is a strong plus.
