Pantheon Data (a Kenific Holding company) is a private, small business based in the Washington, DC, area. Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Position Overview

Pantheon Data has partnered with the US Navy to modernize their HR enterprise. The project involves improving service delivery to Sailors, their families and future recruits through a holistic, end-to-end effort that will impact the Navy's "Hire-to-Retire" lifecycle. We are supporting the Navy's HR digital transformation through several lines of effort that include migrating systems to the cloud, among others. We will do this with a focus on implementing a seamless digital sailor experience, enabling data driven decision making, mitigating risks while improving business operations continuity, and improving operational efficiencies while optimizing costs. Additionally, Pantheon Data will incorporate its proprietary tools to enhance machine learning and robotic process automation.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the successful delivery of complex technical projects. You will work closely with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives, develop detailed project plans, and ensure effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams. Your role will involve monitoring project progress, managing risks, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, driving the organization's digital transformation and supporting its strategic goals. This position requires a strong blend of technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Responsibilities



  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.


Required Skills and Experience



  • Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field. A Masters' degree is preferred.
  • 15 years overall experience including 10 years as a Technical Project Manager or similar role.
  • Expertise managing cloud migrations, preferably to AWS GovCloud.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Experience managing complex technical projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or Trello.
  • Maintain a detailed project plan to track progress.
  • Prepare weekly status summary presentations/reports to present to Stakeholders and Project Team.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.


Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
