Overview
ENERCON's Nuclear Service Group is seeking a Project Manager. In this role, you will take the lead in creating winning engineering proposals in collaboration with our skilled technical team, ensuring exceptional detail and innovation. You'll develop comprehensive project plans, implement rigorous standards, and drive success to exceed client expectations. From overseeing schedules and budgets to nurturing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities, this role offers the perfect mix of leadership, strategy, and technical expertise. This role can be based in one of the following locations:
Naperville, IL
- King of Prussia, PA
- Kennesaw, GA
Responsibilities
Imagine a day where you're leading a team to craft winning engineering proposals and develop detailed project plans that ensure success from start to finish. You're at the center of complex scheduling, managing client relationships, and driving project performance, all while overseeing quality, budgets, and timelines to deliver exceptional results and seize new opportunities.
- Proposal Development & Planning: Lead efforts with technical staff to develop detailed engineering proposals. Develop Nuclear Services Project Work Plans, Risk Management Plans, Communication Plans, Work Breakdown Structures, and Dictionaries
- Project Management & Scheduling: Enforce work standards, schedules, supervise sub-contractor personnel, and communicate organization goals. Manage development, execution, reporting, recovery, and rebaselining of project schedules. Understand and apply scheduling tools, including earned value management
- Team & Client Management: Manage matrixed technical staff to ensure quality deliverables meet client requirements. Foster and maintain client relationships, acting as a single point of contact for projects. Manage client interactions and control project scope to satisfaction
- Financial & Reporting Oversight: Understand and report on project financials and overall performance to management. Develop and formulate detailed internal and Federal reporting requirements
- Marketing & Business Development: Support marketing efforts by identifying new opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow-up
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in power generation or nuclear industries as an Engineer or Project Manager
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR PMP Certification and 10 years' applicable experience
- Skilled in cost / workhour estimating and proposal development and review
- Capable of reporting on and managing scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects executing simultaneously
- Knowledge in earned value management, rules of credit, and progress reporting
- Experienced in contract and non-disclosure agreement language development and review
- Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
- Strong coordination and team building skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
- Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks. Position may occasionally require a client site assignment lasting several months at a time
Salary Range The salary range for this full-time position is below. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. #LI-MB1
Pay Range
USD $121,000.00 - USD $172,000.00 /Yr.
