Field Application Scientist - Imaging Raleigh, NC area; Atlanta, GA area; Tampa, FL area Your Tasks: The Imaging Field Application Scientist (FAS) role is part of the Miltenyi Commercial Sales team and supports our Imaging portfolio from pre-sales to post-sales for both UltraMicroscope II/Blaze (Lightsheet Microscope) and MACSima (Spatial Biology). The FAS is responsible for coordinating pre-sales demonstrations with the Sales team (Blaze Lightsheet only), leading initial customer training, and continued support post-training which includes workflow support and troubleshooting, account management for their assigned territory, and re-trainings when needed. Imaging FASs regularly provide technical seminars for both prospective and current customers. Additionally, you will assist in the adoption of Miltenyi Biotec reagents and consumables by promoting products to customers when relevant. The ideal candidate has a background in confocal microscopy, light sheet microscopy and/or spatial biology, is a self-starter, enjoys teaching, and is an effective communicator, both written and verbally. They are able to manage customers with varying levels of knowledge/scientific background who study a variety of applications. The candidate must be able to work in a matrix organization with multiple teams involved in the management of the same territory. The candidate will travel up to 70% of their time within their territory, nationally, and internationally, depending on the team's needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
