The Job

Support SCAN's Enterprise Data Architecture & Engineering team through facilitating Agile practices, supporting cloud migration, and keeping the team focused on delivering business value aligned to organizational goals.

You Will



  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies: Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Act as a servant leader by supporting development teams, addressing blockers, and promoting self-organization.
  • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure clear definition of Epics, Features, and Stories including but not limited to the migration of an EDW to the cloud. Maintain and manage a product backlog, ensuring user stories and tasks are prioritized and refined based on value and dependencies.
  • Act as a primary liaison between the technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of progress, risks, and impediments. Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders, including sprint progress, burndown charts, and key metrics.
  • Identify, document, and address risks, dependencies, and impediments related to the migration process. Facilitate resolution of bottlenecks during the migration of large datasets and integration with the cloud platform.
  • Work within the SAFe framework to support Program Increment (PI) Planning and contribute to the program backlog refinement and prioritization. Align team objectives with ART (Agile Release Train) goals and ensure consistent delivery across iterations and program increments.
  • Mentor team members on Agile best practices and help them grow in their roles. Promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing among data engineers, architects, and analysts.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems, processes, and user needs and document these findings to support BI-centric solutions. Maintains a thorough understanding of client organizational structure and business processes and then leverages that knowledge in project related efforts.
  • Translates business needs, processes and procedures into documents a solution architect can leverage. Proposes solution options, when appropriate. Utilizes superior communication skills to collaborate with technology experts and business stakeholders.
  • Develops documents for BI applications, report mock-ups, systems specification and test plans, according to existing standards and methodologies.
  • Actively support the achievement of SCAN's Vision and Goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Your Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • SAFe Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Agilist certification required
  • 2+ years Professional related experience.
  • 2+ years of health care experience, highly preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in SQL/Query languages to perform data analysis.
  • Experience with cloud migrations a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business needs and work with technical staff to formulate data warehouse centric solutions consistent with organizational objectives.
  • Familiarity with relational databases, reporting, and customers' use of data/information in decision-making.
  • Strong SQL query writing skills to perform data analysis.
  • Experience developing requirements and functional specifications, testing, and user satisfaction testing.
  • Ability to communicate well with business owners and technical staff for effective scope control and timely project completion.
  • Familiarity with modern data stack and reporting/visualization platforms.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed.
