job purpose:

Responsible for the full goods Put Away of all products off of the palletizers and supplies for finished goods. Assists with other Warehouse operational activities, as time allows, such as receiving of raw materials, loading dunnage trailers, Case Pick, Finished Goods Load out, Inventory cycle counting, chemical receiving and miscellaneous other duties.

job purpose:

The Maintenance Rebuild Tech will work with supervision rebuilding all equipment that resides in the Maintenance Department. The equipment that has been rebuilt will then be returned to the spare parts crib as inventory. This position requires a high level of precision, blueprint reading and sourcing spare parts. The Maintenance Rebuild Tech will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and communicate daily for updates and status on rebuilt equipment.

responsibilities:



  • Responsible for rebuilding all the equipment on the rebuild shelf. Diaphragm pumps, centrifugal pumps, rotary-lobe pumps, vane pumps, solenoid valves, single and dual seat valves, thinktop valves, filler grippers and all rebuildable parts as needed.
  • Responsible for functionality of equipment after the rebuild has been completed.
  • Responsible for adding rebuilt equipment back to crib inventory.
  • Must be able to track and document work orders with correct rebuild parts.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and follow OEM guidelines on equipment repair.
  • Responsible for sending repairable parts that we don't rebuild in house for outside vendor repair.
  • Must communicate with the Parts Procurement personnel for spare parts min/max quantities.
  • Able to set up and operate welders, drill press, grinder, hand tools and other metal working equipment.
  • May assist mechanics on equipment rebuilds during shutdowns.
  • Other duties may be assigned.



skills/qualifications required:



  • Proven ability to read and interpret documents, schematics, and drawings.
  • Ability to write detailed repair reports as well as good verbal communication.
  • Post-secondary education and/or a technical trade certificate is preferred.
  • Experience in the operation of a food beverage plant is preferred.
  • A positive attitude and excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Good math and reasoning ability is essential. Able to understand and utilize engineering drawings, operating manuals, and blueprints to conduct business



working conditions and physical requirements:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Employees will be subject to temperatures from 34 to over 100 degrees.

The job is performed indoors on a manufacturing floor. Exposure to loud noises, dust, dirt, sparks, oil and smoke may occur. Protective safety equipment may be required including, but not limited to: hearing protection, bump caps, hair and beard nets, shoes, gloves, hardhat, and safety eyewear as needed. Activities may include extended periods of standing.

Regular use of a variety of machines and tools is essential. Standing for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal range is important for conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents, manuals and drawings.




  • Sitting/Standing/Walking: Stands, walks and sits during completion of job responsibilities.
  • Lifting/Carrying: Occasional lifting requirements as job demands. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. on an occasional basis.
  • Pushing/Pulling: Occasional pushing or pulling requirements.
  • Bending/Stooping: Occasional bending and stooping requirements.
  • Squatting/Kneeling/Crawling: Occasional kneeling or crawling requirements.
  • Twisting/Turning: Ongoing twisting or turning requirements.
  • Climbing/Balancing Climbing and balancing is required during plant inspections, and other related job requirements. Must be able to climb ladders and work at elevations of 75 feet.
  • Reaching: Ongoing reaching requirements associated with job requirements.
  • Grasping/Manipulating: Grasping and manipulating of papers, objects, and equipment will be required. Ability to keyboard for data input will be required on an ongoing basis.
  • This position will be Monday through Friday 7am-3:30pm with the possibility of overtime in the event it's needed.

  • Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required that may affect product quality or food safety.


  • Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Areas.
  • Perform all duties necessary to meet Company, Customer and/or Government requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company.
  • Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.
  • Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.
  • Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
  • In the event of absence, another employee with the same skill level will assume the duties and responsibilities as required.
