Overview The Test Facilities Operation, Maintenance and Engineering (TFOME) contract at the NASA Glenn Research Center, Neil A. Armstrong Test Facility in Sandusky, Ohio is dedicated to excellence in service and to providing outstanding technical opportunities for our employees. We specialize in providing engineering and technical services in the areas of aero/space propulsion and power test facilities. The Electrician Apprentice trains under journeyperson level electricians to learn required technical skills to handle work assignments related to the buildup, installation, operation, and maintenance of intricate test packages in a unique research test facility. Responsibilities
Complete on-the-job training with experienced journeyperson electricians for a total of 8,000 hours in order to complete requirements for the Electrician State of Ohio Apprenticeship Program.
