Why This Job

The Senior Associate of Financial Planning and Analysis is a key member of the finance team. This role will be highly visible within the organization as it partners closely with global teams and business finance units to deliver valuable insights and drive financial reporting accuracy. The FP&A Senior Analyst will engage in budgeting and forecasting activities, ad hoc analysis, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to provide actionable insights, ensuring data reasonability, accuracy and sound financial reporting.

This position will report to the Senior Manager of FP&A and will work closely with the Director of FP&A and senior leadership.

What You'll Do
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Actively participate in the preparation of the annual financial planning and monthly forecasting processes for the Company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on Company performance including Board presentations. Analyze financial trends, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Variance Analysis: Provide variance analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and identify business drivers, market dynamics, and operational initiatives impacting financial performance
  • CAPEX: a specific focus on managing capital expenditures, which includes evaluating potential investments in major assets, tracking their spending, and ensuring alignment with strategic business plans.
  • Data Validation: Perform robust crosschecks and validation of data from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate results and forecast via oral and written communication to leadership in a clear and concise manner
  • Ad Hoc Requests & Compliance: Support ad hoc requests, including audits and compliance initiatives as needed
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Support finance transformation initiatives focused on automation, process improvement, and optimization of reporting function.
What You'll Need
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Strong financial background; experience with planning, forecasting, financial modeling and integrated financial analysis is preferred
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and communicate the story to senior management
  • Proven ability to influence decision making that drives business success
  • Effectively collaborates with various teams to gather and analyze financial information
  • Can build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
  • Strong analysis and financial reporting skills required
  • Proficiency with SAP and MS Office; especially with Excel and PowerPoint
  • SAP BPC knowledge preferred
  • Experience working as business partners is a plus
Your Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or other business related field
