We are seeking a Non-Technical Project Manager with strong leadership and communication skills to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-wide projects and events. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving business objectives through careful planning, resource management, and timely communication. This role will be responsible for coordinating various projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and supporting the achievement of key business goals. Previous experience in fitness events and proficiency in project management tools like Smartsheet is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Lead all aspects of enterprise-wide projects or events, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. Project Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain project plans, facilitate departmental meetings, create presentations, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle. Status Reporting & Documentation: Produce and manage detailed project status reports, risk assessments, charters, and issue logs for management and the project team to ensure transparency and effective communication. Budget Management: Oversee project budgets by tracking expenses, performing cost variance analysis, schedule variance analysis, and earned value analysis. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the project team staff, particularly in a matrix environment, and resolve any conflicts to maintain productivity and morale. Project Phases Management: Navigate projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure phases while handling multiple concurrent projects of varying complexity. Stakeholder Management: Lead large, complex meetings and discussions with executives and stakeholders, demonstrating executive presence and ensuring clear communication. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the successful completion of projects, ensuring diverse personalities and working styles are effectively managed. Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 2-4 years of project management experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in fitness events. Key Skills: Timely and concise communication with both teams and management Experience in managing cross-functional projects and teams Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse personalities Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet is required. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in project management or related field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in managing fitness-related events. Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) are a plus but not required.Working Conditions: Collaborative office environment with occasional travel required for event coordination. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
