Territory Sales Manager - B2B Sales - Waste Connections - Acworth, GA

Waste Connections is seeking a high-performing Territory Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team in Acworth, Georgia. We're looking for a motivated, creative, and results-driven sales professional with strong B2B sales and account management experience.

As a Territory Sales Manager, you'll focus on business development, client retention, and strategic growth within a defined geographic area. You'll use CRM tools like Salesforce (ARES) to manage the sales pipeline and close deals with commercial clients in the waste and environmental services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and retain a book of existing commercial accounts

  • Identify and pursue upselling opportunities within current clients

  • Build and maintain a target list of prospective B2B accounts and key decision-makers

  • Target high-volume commercial opportunities within assigned territory

  • Track sales activities, leads, and follow-ups using CRM tools (Salesforce / ARES)

  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline to meet and exceed monthly new and gross sales goals

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and contracts

  • Advise clients on equipment optimization and leasing solutions

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful service implementation

  • Perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of direct B2B sales or business development experience with a track record of success

  • Experience in contract negotiation, consultative selling, and account growth

  • Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Experience using CRM software such as Salesforce (preferred)

  • Strong analytical and math skills for pricing estimates and margin analysis

  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment
