Job Description


This position will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and supporting America based hotels through their individual journeys to migrate from their existing Property Management System (PMS) to a new cloud based solution. As hotels across US and Canada become eligible and sign up for the solution/migration, they will be assigned to the Implementation Specialists in the form of "cohort" groups where the Implementation specialist will shepherd the hotels and partners and related processes across a 6 week defined program including proactive and reactive touch points. Hotels have to complete detailed workbooks, training modules, signoffs, confirmations, etc along the way. The Implementation Specialist will be responsible for monitoring their portfolios via regular reporting fed by Salesforce, ensuring progress up to the point of cutover.

Key Responsibilities:

o Project management - will use regular reports out of Salesforce to monitor a portfolio of hotels and where they individually stand in the overall process, followed by proactive and reactive communications strategy where delays are apparent.

o SME - will learn all there is to know about the New PMS initiative to be able to support hotels in their journey, eliminating log jams

Tactical Interactions

o Leading Kickoff calls to groups of hoteliers

o Answering questions and concerns related to the program via email and phone

o Assisting and pressuring hotels with completion of Property Information Workbooks, capturing detailed PMS information

o Monitoring and pressuring training completion

o Making go / no go decisions with support of line manager for hotels that are at risk

o Ensuring day of cutover readiness with hotel and external partners

o Supporting everything in between as the owner of the relationship with your hotels

Skillsets/Experience

o At least 5 years in a related field

o Hospitality experience strongly suggested - General Manager, Director of Sales, Revenue Manager, or similar within the hospitality vertical. Also open to resources rolling off of very similar hospitality technology rollouts for other hospitality brands (as other brands are currently doing very similar work)

o Sales/Training - needs to be able to speak well and with confidence to be able to get hoteliers quickly back on the right track and proceeding towards the goal

o Reporting/Tools/CRM - should have experience with Microsoft Excel or similar application to be able to analyze and manage portfolio level data regularly to help streamline day to day activities
