Job Summary: The Director, HCP Education is responsible for owning the Commercial Medical Education Program Strategy. They will work cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, KOLs, HCPs, GurUs and internal brands to develop and execute external professional training programming and materials. They will be the lead for our Revance Aesthetic Faculty Program (GurUs) in the execution of professional injector training to foster injector engagement and drive product adoption. Reporting to the Executive Director, HCP Education this role will work across the Revance Aesthetics Portfolio including Marketing, Field Sales, Medical Affairs, Internal Creative teams and external agency partners to deliver targeted and differentiated medical training programming to injectors. Responsible for the development and deployment of relevant educational strategies with selected professional trainer material while collaborating with Medical Affairs/Legal/Regulatory committees, assuring programming adheres to compliance guidelines. Reporting to: VP, Marketing Location: Nashville, TN (onsite 3 days/week) Salary Range: $141,400 - $194,480 Responsibilities/Essential Duties:
- Support execution as a key member of the Commercial Marketing team in Professional Training & Education for Revance Aesthetics Portfolio externally (Licensed Aesthetic Injectors, KOLs) and internally (Marketing and Sales).
- Partner with other functional team members to develop and maintain live and on-demand professional training and education content-aligned brand messaging.
- Collaborate with other departments including Marketing, Sales, Sales Training, and Medical Affairs to identify clinical education opportunities and deficiencies.
- Lead the medical content strategy. Research, identify, create and implement solutions to address these needs.
- Adapt, implement, and execute curricula and training content through multiple channels to develop clinical competence and technical knowledge.
- Create engaging portfolio training decks for all field and national programs.
- Lead all Nashville HQ Programming, including but not limited to: Lead Organizer for all program logistics, MC for all programs, main POC for all cross-functional production partners (AV tech/Experience Center), and final creative approval.
- Foster and manage relationships with marketing brands, VP of International Alliances, and Teoxane to ensure success and the highest caliber of HCP education.
- Develop new specific cadaver content and learning pathways for field, trainers and customers.
- Oversee InnovateU overlap with educational programming, including but not limited to model selection and all HQ broadcast content (medical education content, faculty briefings).
- Manage two direct reports who oversee InnovateU and Senior Training & Education Partner.
- Oversees Medical Scientific Educators (MSEs) evaluation, assessment and feedback of trainer performance and quality.
- Oversee execution of MSE injection content and hands-on training content.
- Collaborate on the strategy of deployment of MSEs in the field.
- Recommend content build out and programming buildout for MSE.
- Foster productive working relationships with injectors in the speakers/advisory bureau while cultivating new and emerging influencer trainers.
- Own the Revance Trainer Program (GurU Program); strategize and develop innovative trainings for RA Portfolio Trainers.
- Main point of contact for GurU Program; Management of program development and HCP strategy (internal and external programs).
- Develop and oversee annual Train-the-Trainer Program.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs to ensure they have proper collateral and resources to support for Gurus.
- Strategize and execute initiatives to elevate the current training cohort, such as international and KOL collaboration.
- Create and project-manage commercial aesthetics training and support materials, including training slide content, videos, train-the-trainer speaker/trainer content, and on-demand modules.
- Liaison with cross-functional teams for field execution collateral, and social/digital content; guide internal review and approval processes consistent with applicable FDA regulations.
- Facilitate functional collaborative meetings to align internal (Marketing/Field Sales) and external stakeholders (KOL Speakers/Injectors).
- Build brand-agnostic training content, creating RevanceU-specific curricula.
- Analyze current education program offerings, and identify and improve gaps.
- Monitor and analyze GurU Trainers; utilize data to assess ROI impact for each KOL.
- Prepare monthly reports and communicate program engagement and return on effort analysis.
- Build productive relationships with faculty trainers with HCP faculty trainers and program attendees.
- In-field travel for key educational programming, and key conference industry conference meetings as required - estimated at 20% of the time.
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree & 5 years' directly related experience; OR
- Master's degree & 7 years' directly related experience; OR
- Bachelor's degree & 9 years' directly related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in the healthcare field.
- Nurse Practitioner, PA-C (Physician Assistant) or Medical Doctor training.
- Board Certified where applicable.
- 6-8+ years' experience as a Licensed Injector.
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with direct responsibility in field sales in aesthetics and in-house Marketing or Professional Training preferably in biotech, pharmaceuticals, or medical device industries focused on aesthetics.
- Strong knowledge of filler/neurotoxin market with in-office injection experience.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of in-practice and national injector training programming.
- Experience participating in and/or coordinating promotional reviews, PRC/MLR meetings/workflows and/or compliance reviews; ability to utilize related digital asset or content management systems.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders (internal and external), as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Strong facilitation and project management, planning, critical-thinking, teamwork and organizational skills.
- Expertise in communicating scientific information.
- Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive information with the ability to exercise discretion and show good judgment; honesty, integrity, and trust-building behaviors in all dealings.
- Proactive and can-do attitude.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills, especially with injectors and field sales teams.
- Able to interact effectively with personnel at all levels and in all disciplines, both internally and externally to Revance.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while ensuring quality, and operate within an evolving, fast-paced, real-time environment.
- Strong project management skills and an ability to complete projects with limited supervision.
- Specific familiarity or experience in relevant aesthetics area.
