Program Manager
Purpose:
- Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need fora Program Manager in Monterey, CA.
Job Description:
- Plan, schedule, direct, and approve all work assigned to the SW / Sim division under the Warfighting Readiness Solution (WRS) Operation and assure that quality products are delivered on time and within budget.
- Assist the Operations Manager with identifying and developing marketing and business plans for targeted opportunities that fall within the capabilities of the JTLS-GO.
- Work with the Operations Manager to market and capture work that is oriented with JTLS-GO capabilities.
- Provide inputs to bid and proposal efforts that relate to software product development and delivery.
- Promote existing customer relations through frequent communication.
- Consult with customers to gain cooperation and acceptance of ideas and actions.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Support budgeting, scheduling, and tracking software tasks and ensure maximum efficiency in these processes.
- Maintain a positive work environment through positive actions to affect morale, providing adequate opportunities for employee personal growth, and ensuring the Division meets Company regulations and policies.
- Direct and coordinate personnel management activities including, recruiting, hiring, promotions, and terminations.
Qualifications
- Must have at least 10+ years' experience in Program Management that included managing of diverse projects and profit and Loss responsibilities.
- Must have working experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills, with experience briefing senior corporate management.
- Must be a self-starter and ability to proactively keep multiple capture activities moving forward
- Must be able to work collaboratively with technical staff, business development, program management, contracts, procurement and pricing personnel to actively bring in new business opportunities.
- Must have the ability to act with a sense of urgency, get things done quickly, and re-prioritize as necessary to address critical action items.
Desired Requirements
- Prefer an Active DoD Secret security clearance.
Security Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD secret security clearance.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel up to 5%
- If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:

Pay Range: $120,000 - $135,000 per year
