Job Summary |
Facilities Management at Auburn University is excited to begin the search for a
Student Worker to join the Waste & Recycling team! Assists with monitoring the university's recycling programs and implementing plans to improve solid waste and recycling services; support the development and execution of recycling and waste reduction initiatives on campus focusing on student engagement; assist with activities and events.

Essential Functions |
- Assisting with activities, events and programs like Campus Building Recycling Program, Gameday Recycling Program, Camp War Eagle, Campus Race To Zero Waste, Earth Day, Move-in, Move-out, Binder Giveaway, Sustainability Picnic, etc.
- Assisting with monitoring the university's recycling programs and implementing plans to improve solid waste and recycling services
- Supporting the development and execution of recycling and waste reduction initiative on campus focusing on student engagement
- Performing other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications |
- Currently enrolled undergraduate Auburn University student
Expectations:
- Commitment to an inclusive and diverse campus environment
- Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move a minimum of 50 pounds while performing job duties

Preferred Qualifications |
- Interest in the environment, sustainability, principles and practices of solid waste management and recycling
- Ability to work during the summer (May-August 2025)
