Senior Production Assembler - TEMPORARY POSITION Job Locations

Overview General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), a premier provider to the US Department of Defense and allied nations, is hiring a Senior Production Assembler in our Folsom, California location. The Senior Production Assembler assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and/or electrical/electronic systems to make subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment. This role fits, aligns, calibrates and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; and may repair units or products that have failed to meet requirements. Given the nature of our work and our organization's ethos, we value trust, honesty, alignment, and transparency. *We are on a 9/80 schedule (9 hour days Monday - Thursday, alternating Fridays off, opposite Fridays 8 hour days). This is a full-time on-site position. This role will start out as a temporary position with the option of the candidate applying to become a regular full-time GD-OTS employee after 90 days. Major Position Responsibilities
Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.
